Born in Pendleton, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Walter, Sr. and Lucille Webb Vance. </p><p><br></p><p>She was the wife of the late Alphonso W. Allen for 50 years.</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving: three brothers, Walter (Laverne) Vance, Jr., of Reisterstown, MD, Norman (Denise) Vance of Suisun City, CA, and Robert (Larita) Vance of Charlotte, NC; a devoted nephew, Calvin C. Allen, Jr. of Charleston, SC; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral Services: Thursday, June 8, 2023, 1:00pm, at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 100 E. Court St., Greenville SC., with interment in Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC., on Monday June 12, 2023, 2:00pm. </p>Obituary
