Thomas Edgar Harden
<p>Thomas Edgar Harden Sr., 80, of Kennebunk, passed away May 26, 2023. He was born November 29, 1942 in Lawrence, MA to Richard and Ruth (Naylor) Harden.</p><p><br></p><p>Tom attended Salisbury, MA and Newburyport, MA schools growing up. He worked at Pettengill Farm in Salisbury as a teenager. He then worked as an Auto Mechanic at Finn Motors, Fitzgerald Motors, and Davis Auto Electric and as a Truck Mechanic at New Hampshire Fisheries and Ipswich Maritime Products until his retirement in 2009. He married Barbara Shannon June 25, 1962. Tom enjoyed camping and gardening. He loved to help people and spend time with his grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Tom was preceded in death by: his parents, Richard and Ruth Harden; wife, Barbara Harden; and daughter, Stacy Lohouse. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Harden Jr. of Sanford, ME, Timothy Harden of Kennebunk, ME, and Greg Harden of Salisbury, MA; brothers, Russell Harden and his wife, Mary Lou of Peabody, MA and Robert Harden and his wife, Susan of Pelham, NH; grandchildren, TJ, Hailey, and Jack; nephews, John, Billy, Robby, and Craig; nieces, Betsy, Michele, and Nicole; and sister-in-law, Brenda Blaisdell.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services will be private and he will be laid to rest next to Barbara at Pine Grove Cemetery in West Kennebunk.</p>Obituary
