<p>Selma Agnes Wagner, beloved wife of the late Frank Wagner passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 at the age of 98 years in The Western Senior Citizens Home in Leader, Sk.&nbsp; Sally was born to parents Isidore &amp; Dorothea Bonogofski on Oct. 19th, 1924 on the family farm south of Prelate. She was 6th in the family of 15 children.&nbsp; Sally married Frank Wagner on Oct. 10th, 1949 in St. Francis Xavier Church in Prelate, Sk.&nbsp; They had 5 children together.&nbsp; Sally is survived by Theresa (Les) Martin, Lindsay (Scott) Mildenberger, Darren(Kristina) Brost; MaryLou (Gord) Sick, Lesley Sick, Janelle(Colin) Labrecque, Jason(Sonia) Sick; Tony(Darlene) Wagner, Tyson(Dominique) Wagner, Kaitlyn Wagner; Kathy(Brian) Suchan, Christina (Bo) Stich, Jonathon(Kirsten) Suchan; Son-in-law Jim Thares, Ryan (Tawnya) Thares, Micheal(Kendra) Thares. Great Grandchildren Lily &amp; Jack Mildenberger, Bentley &amp; Nolan Thares, Ellie, Adylyn &amp; Beau Labrecque, Emily &amp; Carter Brost, Max &amp; Finn Wagner &amp; Creighton Stich. She is also survived by siblings, Elizabeth Sannes &amp; Greg Bonofofsky, &nbsp;In-laws, Marj Bonogofski, Anne Bonogofski, Tony Heck, Don &amp; Teri Taylor and many nephews &amp; nieces. </p><p>She is predeceased by her parents, her in-laws Anton &amp; Clara Wagner, Her husband Frank (2002), daughter Marlene Thares (2020) &amp; son-in-law Bob Brost (1988). Also by her sisters, Barbara, Christina, Anne &amp; Pete Hagel, Mary &amp; Mike Guckert, Agnes Heck, Frances &amp; Rem Wagner;&nbsp; Brothers, Ole &amp; Betty Bonogofski, Isidore &amp; Shirley Bonogofsky, Joe, Tony, Zack &amp; Pete Bonogofski; in-laws, Don Sannes, Jack &amp; Fanny Guckert &amp; Roy &amp; Anne Wagner. </p><p>Sally was known to be a great cook and loved baking.&nbsp; Always inviting people to “sit and stay for lunch.”&nbsp; Often she would spend the day baking kuchen, apple strudel or pies. This was a delicious delight to all her family and friends.&nbsp; She would always be sought out and complimented when she made her famous potato salad for numerous community celebrations and weddings. &nbsp;She only knew how to make borscht by the canner full. When you left her table, you were full and couldn’t eat another bite. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.&nbsp; She was always happy to see her grandchildren, who in return loved her dearly. Throughout her life, Sally faced many health challenges.&nbsp; She had cancer 3 times and a heart attack, but with her faith and support from her family she made it through every time. </p><p>The Wagner Family would like to thank the staff, nurses &amp; all the care aids for their special kindness and care that our Mother, Sally received while in your care.&nbsp; We know that you will remember her smile in your hearts. </p><p>Prayers will be on Friday, June 2nd at 7:00 pm and The Celebration of her Life will be on Saturday, June 3nd at 11:00 am at the Little Flower Parish in Leader, Sk. (308 Main Street).
