<p>Passed away suddenly as the result of a tragic accident on Monday, May 29, 2023 at the age of 71 years.&nbsp; Best friend and beloved husband of Wendy Stewart (nee Brett) for 47 years.&nbsp; Loving father of Elizabeth Anderson (Mark), Heather Stewart, Patricia Blyde (Phil) and Melissa Roloson (Mark).&nbsp; Proud Grandpa and Papa of 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grand daughters.&nbsp; David is survived by his brothers, Doug Stewart (Lynn) and Graham Stewart (Josette) and his sister Lyn Hancock (Gerry).&nbsp; </p><p>David was a motorcycle and small engine &nbsp;&nbsp;mechanic by trade, owning Connor Lawn and Marine for many years before his retirement.&nbsp; After retiring, David spent 12 years driving school bus, a profession he loved.&nbsp; He loved NASCAR, the NFL and fishing, but family was everything. He was greatly loved, and he will be greatly missed. </p><p>Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, &nbsp;on Monday, June 5 from 6-8pm,&nbsp; and Tuesday June 6 from 10am until 11am, when a service will be held in the funeral home chapel.&nbsp; Interment will follow at the Woodstock Anglican Cemetery.&nbsp; For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House, the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of one’s choice </p>
