<p>Kathryn Anne Richardson, 69 years of age, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023, in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on April 12, 1954, to Glenn and Wilma (Cullum) Chilton in Hayti, Missouri. Kathryn graduated from Osceola High School in Osceola, Arkansas, in 1972.<br></p><p><br></p><p>Kathryn was united in marriage to Peter "Royce" Richardson, Sr., celebrating 13 years of marriage and 19 total years of being together as a couple. They met in their younger years while attending the same elementary school.<br></p><p><br></p><p>She worked as a title abstractor for Prewitt Rogers Abstract Company.<br><br></p><p>Kathryn enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who she loved tremendously. She immensely loved her two dogs, Didi and Dallas. Kathryn also enjoyed watching and cheering for her favorite baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals.<br></p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her husband, Royce; children: Joshua (Amanda) Raper, Trae (Rhonda) Raper, Leah Patterson, Peter (Jennifer) Richardson, Jr, and Scott (Anessa) Richardson; and 17 grandchildren. Kathryn is preceded in passing by her infant daughter, Brandi Patterson; brother and his wife, Tommy (Pat) Chilton; her parents, Glenn and Wilma Chilton; and her two beloved dogs, Didi and Dallas.<br></p><p><br></p><p>A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. - DeGraffenreid-Wood-Crematory, Springfield, Missouri.<br><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee – stjude.org.</p><p>Care and arrangements have been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. - DeGraffenreid-Wood-Crematory, Springfield, Missouri.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>Obituary
