<p>Annie Lee Hightower-Alexander was born in Clay County, Georgia, on May 24, 1939, to the late Bennie Hightower and the late Sarah Lovett. &nbsp;She passed&nbsp;away on Monday, May 29, 2023, at the age of eighty-four. </p><p>Ms. Annie joined Saint Paul Church at an early age. &nbsp;She later moved her&nbsp;membership to Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Blakely, Georgia. </p><p>In 1977 until 1980, she worked in the Early County School System. &nbsp;From 1980 to 1994, Annie worked at a cookie factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. &nbsp;On September 7, 1994, she received her Nurse Aide Certificate and began work&nbsp;with Early Memorial Nursing Home until retiring. </p><p>She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters: &nbsp;Mary Alexander-Sparks (Paul) of West Palm Beach, Florida, Betty Armstrong-Gill (Philip) of Albany, Georgia, and Terry Alexander of Blakely, Georgia; one son, Eddie Roy Blackmon of Tifton, Georgia; three bonus daughters, Sharon Alexander-James (Larry) of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Dawanda Alexander (Roscoe) of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Carrie Gray (Rick) of Blakely, Georgia; eleven grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; one sister, Annie Doris Timpson of Edison, Georgia; six brothers: Johnny Timpson (Annie Mae), Sonny Timpson (Amy), Freddie Timpson (Janice), Billy Timpson, Willie Timpson, all of Edison, Georgia, and Charlie Willie Timpson of Dothan, Alabama; one aunt, Norma Perry of Quincy, Florida; her favorite cousin, Dorothy Bolkcom of Blakely, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends&nbsp;and good neighbors. </p><p>Two sisters, Ruby Jean Timpson and Betty Morris, preceded her in death. &nbsp;Also,&nbsp;one brother, Larry Timpson, predeceased her. </p>
