Belton - Daniel Duffy “Danny Boone” Owen, 72, husband of the late Carol Amber Adams Owen, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023.

Born in Williamston, he was a son of the late Willis Ansel and Dena Mae Ellison Owen. He retired as a self-employed residential carpenter. He loved to hunt, fish, and work.

He is survived by son, Jeffrey Owen (Tonya); daughter, Stephanie Taylor (Scott); brother, Andy Owen (Sara), all of Belton; and grandchildren, Cody Taylor, Kyleigh and Wade Owen.

He was predeceased by brothers, Wayne and Larry Owen; and sister, Jo Ann Kittredge.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 2, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Beaverdam Baptist Church, with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
