John passed away peacefully at Wellington House in Prescott Friday, May 26th, 2023 with his family by his side at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Janet Annable (nee Bethune), dear son of the late Edward and Annie Annable (Willett), predeceased by his siblings Margaret Masson (Roger), Edward (Ted), Annable (Elsie), George (Amos) Annable (Mary), Mary Osborne (William), Alva (Alvie) Annable (Jean)..

John will be dearly missed by his children Debbie Annable Carr (Peter), Shirley Carr (Terry), David Annable (Leann), Marie Bedor A very special Papa to Chelsea (Evan), Jessica (Justin), Mindy (Andrew), Courtney, Nicholas, Emily, Amy (Jason), Matt (Sasha) Mick, Abby and a beloved great grandpa to Jocee, Jillian, Emery, Raine, Melody, Colton, Oliver, Landin, Aubrey, Louella.

John will be remembered for his dedication to RCA for 30+ years and for his contribution and dedication to the Prescott fire department for 30+ years. John enjoyed camping with the grandchildren, bingo and coffee with his daily newspaper.

A celebration of life will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Chapel, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland Ontario on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Following the internment, the family members and friends are invited back to the reception centre to share memories of John with a light luncheon being served.
