Danny Keith Ramsey, 70, of Kountze passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023. He was born in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Joe Neal Ramsey and Patsy Ruth Hebert Ramsey.

Danny was a veteran of the United States Navy. He also worked as a machinist for Dupont in Nederland for over 30 years. Danny married his loving wife, Sally on July 18, 1987 and they were married for 35 years. He was a car enthusiast and animal lover, but most importantly he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Danny cherished his family and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Danny is survived by his wife, Sally Jo Hall Ramsey of Kountze; children, Shawn Silcox and husband Junior of Kountze, Cody Ramsey and wife Dana of Kountze; grandchildren, Carley Longron and husband Edgar of Buna, Amber Ramsey of Kountze, Lane Ramsey of Kountze, Grace Ramsey of Kountze, Drew Ford of Timpson, Colt Silcox and wife Courtney of Kirbyville, Brantley Silcox of Jasper, Alexis Silcox of Kountze; four legged children, Lulu, Sammie, Momma Kitty, Petey, Josie, Orange Guy, and Daisy; and numerous other family members and friends.

Following the service, the family would like to announce that there will be a meal served at Faith Tabernacle located at 3345 Highway 69 South Kountze, Texas 77625.

Cremation services will be held under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
