George Franklin Mitchell
<p>George Franklin Mitchell, age 82 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at his residence.</p><p><br></p><p>George was born Tuesday, February 18, 1941 in Tupelo, Mississippi. He was the son of the late James Tillman Mitchell and Eliza Jane Rape Mitchell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Mrs. Polly Mitchell and daughter, Michele Schrieber. </p><p><br></p><p>Mr. Mitchell is survived his wife, Brenda Mitchell of McMinnville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Suzanna and Kevin Laten of Boaz, Al: son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Gina Mitchell of Woodbury, TN; daughter, Leann Mitchell Redmon of Sparta, TN; grandchildren, Heather Boyle, Brandon Laten, Michael Mitchell, Austin Mitchell. Brittni Redmon, Roston Redmon, Tracy Fields, Jr., Ashley Regal, Justin Schrieber and two great-grandchildren also survive. </p><p><br></p><p>George was a member of the Baptist faith. </p><p><br></p><p>A Graveside Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at the Gath Baptist Church Cemetery in Warren County with Rick Stewart and Willard Ralph, Jr. officiating, burial will follow.</p><p><br></p><p>There will be no visitation at the funeral home.</p><p><br></p><p>Gardens of Memory Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.</p><p><br></p><p>Online condolences may be made to the family at gardensofmemoryfuneralhome.com</p>Obituary
