Helen Marie Jensen, age 90, of Staples, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Lakewood Health System. Helen was born on December 6, 1932, in Hource, Nebraska to Burt & Doris (Pouge) Johnson. She married Kenneth Jensen on February 19, 1949.

Helen was blessed with an incredible sense of humor. Her family was her whole world. She loved all the babies and little ones.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Kenneth Jensen, Jr., Deanna (Dennis) Page, Robert Jensen, Sr., Keith (Jane) Jensen, Lisa (Garry) Poynter and Missy (William) Bartkowicz; siblings, Myrtle (Ron) Skolil and Pete Johnson; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Ken; sisters, Betty Jensen and Patty Jensen; brother, Bill Johnson; grandson, Douglas Jensen; great grandson, Tristen; great-great granddaughter, Jolee.

Services for Helen will be Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11AM at Taylor Funeral Home in Staples. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial in Moran Cemetery.
