<p>Breona P. Brown passed away on Friday May 26, 2023.&nbsp;Breona Pecola “Chubby” Brown was gifted by God to her parents and ultimately the world on August 11th, 1992, in Louisville Ky.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Breona attended Jefferson County Public Schools where she graduated in 2010 from Buechel Metropolitan High School. She accepted Christ at an early age, at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastorate of Rev. E.L. White Sr, she remained a member until her passing. Over the years, Breona was very active in the church by attending Vacation Bible School and Youth Church under the leadership of Rev. Freeman Kinnard. She was also a member of the liturgical dance team choir, and both the Youth and Young Adult Usher Boards.</p><p><br></p><p>Breona was passionate about many things, from criminal justice to music, writing poetry and almost everything in between! Because of her passion and curiosity for life she had jobs that included Security, Amazon and The Indiana Department of Corrections. Breona departed this life as an employee of Louisville Metro Department of Sanitation.</p><p><br></p><p>Breona is proceeded in death by her Maternal Grandparents Patsy Brown and James Burks and Paternal Grandmother Matilda Lee. She leaves to Mourn her loss of life, Her surviving partner Kenya Gholston; Parents Keisha (Nathan Sr) Brown-Ricketts and Dennis Lawrence, Her Siblings Monquell Brown, Nathan Ricketts Jr., Shay Banks, Dar’montre Warr, Damone Evans, Danielle Lawrence, Daniqua Lawrence, Nyla Lawrence, Amaya Hollins, Kai’Rena Allen, and Jonesha Woolfolk. Uncle/Brother; Zechariah Brown. Grandmothers; Joann Burks and Joyce Jones. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Breona was always full of life, she enjoyed making people laugh and being happy, she loved being around family and friends, being the spotlight at every occasion.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation: Friday June 02, 2023, at 11A.M. followed by service at 1:00 P.M. Both services will be held at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church 1057 S. 28th Street Louisville, KY 40211.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p>
