<p>Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother</p><p><br></p><p>Waterbury, CT June (Pesce) Ieronimo, 96, passed away on May 27, 2023.</p><p>She was the only child of the late Angelo and Mary (Christiano) Pesce and</p><p>was predeceased by her husband, John Anthony Ieronimo Sr. and her son,</p><p>John Anthony Ieronimo Jr.</p><p><br></p><p>June is survived by her daughter, Maria Druan and husband Tom of Prospect</p><p>CT, son, Raymond Ieronimo and wife Lisa of Haverhill MA, and daughter-</p><p>in-law, Michelle Ieronimo of Shelton CT. She is also survived by</p><p>grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Angela Druan of Waterbury CT; Tom,</p><p>wife Emily, and children Maeve and Miles Druan of Roslindale MA; Laura,</p><p>husband Drew, and son Lyle Watson of Roslindale MA; Rachel, husband</p><p>Tim, and children Christopher and Grace Noia of Woodbridge CT; Gregory</p><p>Ieronimo and wife Danielle of Redondo Beach CA; and Alexander Ieronimo</p><p>and wife Morgan of Dedham MA.</p><p><br></p><p>June enjoyed spending time with her cousins, who were more like brothers</p><p>and sisters, and her best friend Yolanda Genovese. She was an accomplished</p><p>pianist and was known for sponge cakes she prepared for family events.</p><p>June’s favorite pastime was watching old films and recalling movie star</p><p>trivia. She was blessed to be taken care of by the staff at Apple Rehab in</p><p>Watertown, where she resided for the past five years.</p><p><br></p><p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at</p><p>11:00 a.m. at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, Saints Peter and Paul Church,</p><p>67 Southmayd Road, Waterbury. Family and friends are asked to meet</p><p>directly at the church. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery,</p><p>Watertown. There are no calling hours.</p>Obituary
