<p>Ruth I. O’Bryant, 73, of Lewistown, passed away at 3:10 AM on Thursday, May 25, 2023, in Canton, IL. She was born on August 4, 1949, a daughter of Frank and Shirley (Pierson) Kelley. She married Alan O’Bryant on June 10, 1967 in Havana, IL. He preceded her in death.</p><p><br></p><p>Also, preceding Ruth in death were both of her parents; one son, Curtis O’Bryant; and her sister, Ronda Kelley.</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving are three children, Lisa (Tim) Atchley, Trisha (Tony) Woods, and Wesley (Amanda) O’Bryant; a nephew who was more like a son, Trever (Kelli) Kelley; eight grandchildren, Curtis (Elliyah) Atchley, Conner (Madisyn Duckwiler) Atchley, Colin (Shekinah) Atchley, Jacob (Morgan) Woods, MyKayla (Logan) Garner, Abby Woods, Mya O’Bryant, and Laython O’Bryant; and three great-grandchildren, Tenley Woods, Hadley Woods, and Lawson Woods.</p><p><br></p><p>Ruth loved to crotchet and do crossword puzzles. She also helped her late husband, Alan, with the Lewistown Dairy Queen that they owned.</p><p><br></p><p>Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton, IL.
