<p>Rev. Ronald Edward Hooper, age 92 of Cornelia, GA passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023. </p><p>Born on June 29, 1930 in Banks County, GA, Rev. Hooper was the son of the late Charlie F. and Lilly Mae Neisler Hooper. He was a salesman and was a former pastor of several area churches with the latest one being Bible Landmark Church in Cornelia, GA. </p><p>Survivors include a son, Jonathan (Becky) Hooper; daughters, LaDonna Plum, Vicki (Wendell) Sullens; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. </p><p>Funeral services will be held 2 pm Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Arrowood, Rev. Carl King, Rev. Bill Trotter, and Rev. Clarke Kesler officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Level Cemetery.
