Waterman Funeral Home, Inc. 124 West Miller Street, Newark, NY 14513.<br> <br> In memory of Leonardo, in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to a favorite charity of your own choice.<br> <br> Leonardo was born the son of the late Ramiro Lopez and Maria Mercedes Malave on Thursday, April 18, 1957, in Salinas, Puerto Rico. Leonardo, known as Naldo or Leo to his friends and family, was kind-hearted. He always tried to make sure that those around him were happy. Naldo was a giving man even when he had little to give. Naldo loved cooking, dancing and cars. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and loved his island, Puerto Rico. All his friends and family will miss him.
