Myrtice Opel Batson Hill, 87, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late William Toy Batson and Grace Carrie Lou Styles and the wife of the late Emory Robert Hill. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Dale Dockery and Allen Dockery; a daughter, Kathy Hill; a sister, Marcel Nichols; four grandchildren, Starr Fortenberry, Brad Hill, Reno Dockery and Hope Dockery; five great-grandchildren, Sawyer Luke Fortenberry, Penelope Fortenberry, Adelaide Fortenberry, Blue Fortenberry, and Brennon Hill. She was predeceased by a son, Harlas Hill; two brothers, Marion "Rock" Batson and Darryl Batson; and a sister, Sandra Batson.

Memorial services will be held at 11AM on Friday, June 02, 2023 at Stribling Funeral Home Chapel.
