Annie Spriggs, age 87, of Canton, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023 at AccentCare Hospice.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve Jones officiating. Interment will follow in McHelen Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 27th from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 28th from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Annie was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, bird watching and sitting on her front porch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Spriggs. Annie is survived by her children, Wanda Sue Spriggs, Raymond Spriggs, Eddie "Gooch" Spriggs and Jimmy Spriggs; grandchildren, Terry Spriggs (Chel Bird), Todd White (Kimberly), Torre Spriggs (Ashley) and Ray Spriggs (Morgan); 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
