How to sum up 80 years in an obituary? There are so many memories and many decades of blissful love to try and attempt to sum up here.

Barbara happily made many sacrifices for everyone she knew and loved throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her father Ernest, her mother Hellen, her sister Diana, her brother James, her husband Tomas Daniel Purifoy and son Jacob Purifoy.

Barbara was joyful and thankful for every day of her life. She viewed life as her assigned mission from heaven above to do good to others and be kind to others. One of her favorite indulgences was consistently reading the Holy Word of God.

Barbara’s faith in God never wavered. She lived as she wanted: fiercely independent and with a love for God and all the people in her life. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Her precious smile and her goodness was infectious to anyone who came in contact with her.

Barbara chose the life of a dedicated homemaker anointed with a heavenly dosage of unconditional love for her children and family, always looking for the good that existed in everyone. She was wonderful, a mother, a grandmother, a sister and an unwavering friend to all that knew her.

Barbara dedicated herself along with her second husband, Kenneth E. Cooper, to raising seven beautiful children over the course of 35 years.
