Nancy Porada, 70, of Hanahan, South Carolina passed away Wednesday, May 24 2023 at Viviant Healthcare of Hanahan. Born January 23, 1953 in Cleveland OH she was the daughter of the late Sophia Maley Porada. Nancy spent time living in California and North Carolina, however majority of her years were spent living in South Carolina dedicating her time to her work at The Charleston Airport.

She is survived by siblings Mary Huffman, Geri Gavlak, and John Porada along with many nieces and nephews across Ohio and Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by sister Carol Chovan and Mother Sophia Maley Porada.

Nancy will be remembered as a free and kind spirit that enjoyed the warmth of the South. Her compassion for animals and unwavering love for her cats will not be forgotten. Fond memories of Nancy include her artistry in creating magnificent floral arrangements throughout her lifetime and sharp sense of humor.

Donations to The Charleston Animal Society can be made in Nancy’s honor as an extension of her compassion for all animals.
