Hallie E. Westcott, 54, of Manchester passed away Wednesday May 24, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Norman and Hannah (Wheeler) Stevenson.

Born on April 3, 1969 in Manchester, CT, Hallie was an extremely gifted photographer, decorative painter and gardener, but the thing she loved to do most was spend time with Jesus. Hallie loved reading her bible, diving deep into biblical history, and creating lessons over Zoom for her, not always enthusiastic, children.

Hallie always brought the life to family gatherings, with her smile and laugh that lit up the room. Her sarcasm and wit was a genetic trait that she blessed her children with. She was often teased by her kids about her poor memory. Though she was a walking encyclopedia and could remember every lyric to Rappers Delight, it was easier for her to say “trash receptacle” instead of “garbage can,” because she just could never quite find the words. She was a wonderful Mom and friend, and was adored by many.

She is survived by her children; daughter, Kylie Stevenson-Wertenbach and her husband Seth of Broad Brook; her son Casey Perry of Naples, FL; daughter, Sarah Knapp and her husband Trevor of Ellington; daughter, Isabella Grenier of Ellington; her grandchildren, Emma Stevenson-McCoy, Elijah Stevenson-Wertenbach, Bennett Mayer and Mila Knapp.
