<p>Shirley A. King, 80, of Leslie Michigan died peacefully in the comfort of her home May 22, 2023. She was born May 24, 1942 to the late Clare Henry and Agnes Foster. Shirley attended and graduated from Leslie High School. In 1958 she met the love of her life Elmer L. King, the two married and shared 64 years of marriage. Shirley worked for many years for Len Industries before her retirement. She liked to stay active and in her free time enjoyed playing softball, golf, and bowling. Shirley enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, canoeing, and taking long scenic drives throughout the countryside. Above all else Shirley loved her family and treasured every moment spent with them.</p><p><br></p><p>Shirley is survived by her husband, Elmer L. King; children, Laura (John) Schoun, and Lonnie (Thomas) King; siblings, Ted (Ginny) Foster, Susan Foster, and Lyle (Shirley) Henry.</p><p><br></p><p>There are no services for Shirley planned at this time.
