<p>Although he was fierce and courageous, our beautiful child’s struggle with depression and mental illness came to an abrupt end on May 10, 2023 at the age of 13. Jack Coburn-Lindahl – born Lovisa Lindahl – was a magnificent soul who possessed a formidable sense of independence and exhibited a unique style. He loved music, fashion, and spending time with his friends. At the time of his passing, he was a seventh grader at Boynton Middle School in Ithaca, New York, but he also spent half of his life in his father's loving care. At his New York home, he is mourned by his devoted mother and her partner, Serena Lindahl and Steven Woinoski, his half-brother Carson Marion (age 19), and his twin step-sisters Arvelle and Sylvanna Woinoski (age 15). At his Colorado home, he is mourned by his adoring father and step-mother, Michael and Kaiyia Coburn, his step-siblings, Kaira (age 18) and Kaile (age 14), and his half-sisters Ophelia (age 9) and Penelope (age 5). In addition, his extensive network of relatives, found family, and friends grieve the absence of his bright spark, beautiful voice, and bold presence.&nbsp; </p><p>If you feel so moved, please consider donating to The Trevor Project or Tompkins County Suicide Prevention and youth mental health services.&nbsp; </p>
