Gary Dean McHone, 69, of Mt. Airy, NC passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Woltz Hospice Home. He was born on November 16, 1953 in Mt. Airy, NC to the late Betty Lorene Moser McHone and Clifford Ward McHone. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie. Ricky McHone.

He worked atTime Warner Cable as a cableman and was a loving father, son, brother and papa. He loved his family, westerns and watching preaching and was born to be wild and was the best papa and father ever.

Surviving are his daughters, Jessica Holland, Pam Myers, sons, Michael Myers (Alicia) , Nathan Holland (Courtney), brothers, Billy and Stevie McHone, sisters, Pam McHone, Lisa Belton, grandchildren, Gabriella Ortiz, Bryan Ortiz, Issac Haney, Kensie Stafford, Jadyn Haney, Trevor Stevens, Nolan Haney, Bradyn Holland, Deirks Bowman, Jamarr, Jordan Richardson, Kage Hornaday, Abigal Myers, Michael Myers (Biscuit), great-grandchildren, Selena, Andres, Mia and sister-in- law, Sharon McHone.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 pm in the field at his home place in Dobson, NC on Saturday June 3, 2023.
