<p>Dr. Jimmy Grey Burton passed from this life on May 24, 2023, in Weatherford, Texas. He was born on March 25, 1934, in Strawn, Texas. Dr. Burton married Joanna E. Wells on September 21, 1957. He was a Psychologist for the Veteran’s Admin., Federal Prisons, Texas Youth Council, and Ector County ISD., as well as his private practice. Dr. Burton was a member of the Church of Christ and lived in Parker County.</p><p><br></p><p>Dr. Burton was preceded in death by his parents, W. B. Burton and Nell L. (Beasley) Burton of Odessa, Tx.</p><p><br></p><p>Dr. Burton is survived by his loving wife, Joanna; son, William and wife, Tammy of Sanger, TX; daughter, Lenora of White Settlement; son, Alan and partner, Jeremey King of Millsap, TX; grandsons, William II and wife, Ashley of Sweetwater, TX; Brodie and wife, Kelsey of Sanger, TX; and five great grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers please send prayers for the family and donations to Dr. Burton’s favorite charity: The Children’s Home of Lubbock, P.O.
