<b>Online Obituaries</b> Frances Cox a longtime resident of Moscow Pa died Monday in Regency Health and Rehab in Yorktown Virginia. She celebrated her 93 birthday on May 20th. Her husband the late Albert Cox died in 2002. Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Stanley and Alice Corcoran Kominski she was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. As a young married woman she played drums in the Dunmore Marching band and in her early years she designed and decorated department store windows but is best known as a free lance photographer for the Villager, Scranton Times and Scranton Tribune newspapers. She was a member of St Catherine of Siena Church in Moscow for over 60 years and was a member of the Moscow Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling and had belonged to the area mixed bowling league. She is survived by a daughter Laura Cox Cole and her husband Raymond of Lanexa. Va., with whom she had resided. Two sons David Cox of Moscow and Albert Cox of Fl, a daughter Trisha Cox Wymer and husband James of Hummelstown, PA. Grandchildren Michelle Cox Dolt and husband Sean, Shaun Cole, Kyrsten Wymer, Devyn Wymer, Great Grandchildren, Addison Cole and Hunter Cole. She was preceded in death by a brother Stanley Kominski. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday May 31, at 10 AM in St. Catherine of Siena Church celebrated by Rev. Robert Simon. Interment will follow in St. Catherines Cemetery, Covington Twp. Viewing will be Tuesday from 5-8 in the Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Home 3 First St. Springbrook Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the Moscow Volunteer Fire Company 117 N. Main Street, Moscow Pa. 18444.
