<p>Richard F. Bauers, 89, of Weeping Water, NE died Sunday, May 7, 2023 at</p><p>his home.</p><p>Richard was born in Manley, Nebraska on June 22, 1933 to Frederick and</p><p>Elizabeth (Sheehan) Bauers. He was baptized and received his first holy</p><p>communion at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Manley, Nebraska.</p><p>Richard married Marjorie (Kirchhoff) Bauers on November 23, 1955. They</p><p>had four children. Richard worked various jobs including the rail road,</p><p>Hopper Bros., Kerfords, Sargents, Peter Kiewit Construction, the City of</p><p>Weeping Water and was owner of Bauers Trash &amp; Garbage Removal and</p><p>of Rich Bauers Rock &amp; Gravel.</p><p>When Rich wasn’t working, you could find him out in the pasture with his horses,</p><p>either riding or just out there talking to them. He enjoyed going to the casinos with</p><p>Marge and their friends or just out for a drive. He loved it when his kids,</p><p>grandkids and great grandkids would visit. He also loved to sit down with</p><p>family and friends and share a few stories about the good old days.</p><p>Richard is proceeded in death by his parents Fred &amp; Lizzie Bauers, his wife</p><p>of 60 years Marjorie (Kirchhoff) Bauers, his youngest son Kurtis James</p><p>Bauers, his oldest grandchild Justin Richard Sorensen, his sisters Cecilia</p><p>(Leland) Hanes &amp; Agnes (Earl) Hetrick, his twin brother Robert (Janet), his</p><p>youngest brother Paul, his sisters-in-law Shirley (Switzer) Bauers, and</p><p>Sherrall (Kirchhoff) Phillips, his nephews Everett Hanes, Jerry Hanes,</p><p>Gene Hetrick, Gary Holland and Dennis Taylor.</p><p><br></p><p>Survived by son Allen Bauers (Jackie) of Weeping Water, daughter Debra</p><p>Lindsey (Gregg Eisenbarth) of Louisville, daughter Pamela Haveman</p><p>(Dale) of Avoca, 7 grandchildren, Brandon, Courtney (Tom), Candi (Matt),</p><p>Nicholas (Ashley), Andrew (Brittany), Cassie (Jeremy), and Brett. 11 great</p><p>grandchildren, Tristan, Cody, Aubrie, Keller, Mason, Maddox, Cruz,</p><p>Holden, Ayden, Mayzie &amp; Bentley. His oldest brother Patrick Bauers,</p><p>sisters-in-law Marjorie (Stephenson) Bauers, Juanita (Nichols) Bauers,</p><p>Berdena (Kirchhoff) Snyder, brother-in-law James Phillips and several</p><p>nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.</p><p>Celebration of Life will be July 1, 2023 at 2 P.M. at Gibson Hall, Weeping</p><p>Water, Nebraska.</p><p>Rich suggested in lieu of flowers, memorials to Mason’s Fight cancer</p><p>fund, Justin Sorensen memorial fund for suicide prevention or St. Jude’s</p><p>Hospital for cancer research for children.</p>

Richard F. Bauers, 89, of Weeping Water, NE died Sunday, May 7, 2023 at

his home.

Richard was born in Manley, Nebraska on June 22, 1933 to Frederick and
