Joseph George Dudzik

<p>On May 13, 2023, Joseph George Dudzik (Joe) ,age 75, a resident of Crestview, Florida, was surrounded by loved ones as he went up into heaven. He was born on June 1, 1947, in St. Louis City, Missouri, to Margaret E. Dudzik (Rankin) and William J. Dudzik. Joe grew to be a strong and faithful Christian. He fell in love with and married Judy A. Dudzik (Rensing) on June 17, 1972, at St. Georges Church in New Baden, Illinois. He joined the Air Force in 1967 and was an Information Technician for 21 and a half years, becoming a Security Specialist for 1 year and 7 months. During his time in the military, he earned Vietnam Service Medal, having served in the Vietnam War, among all other awards such as the Meritorious Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He retired from the military in 1990. Soon, he became a father to two beautiful daughters: Joey L. Dudzik and Jaime N. Williams (Dudzik). He was a supportive father, being there for his daughters; whenever his daughters asked for help, he came to them. He also later became a grandfather to four sweet grandchildren: Kayla N. Williams, Dakota J. Jeter, Avrey B. Jeter, and Bella R. Williams. He was often found teasing and joking with them, messing with them every chance he got. He loved and cherished each and every one of his children and grandchildren. </p><p>He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Margaret E. Dudzik and William J. Dudzik; as well as all of his brothers, William (Bill) Dudzik, Larry Dudzik, Edward (Eddie) Dudzik, Robert (Bobby) Dudzik, John (Johnnie) Dudzik, Bernard Dudzik;&nbsp; four of his sisters, Barbara Hiles, Irene Blasdel, Maryjune Schuckman, and Eugenia (Genie) Modeset. </p><p>He is survived by his wife, Judy Dudzik; his two daughters, Joey Dudzik and Jaime Williams; four grandchildren, Kayla Williams, Dakota Jeter, Avrey Jeter, and Bella Williams and his two other sisters, Margaret (Margie) Nenninger and Harriet (Connie) Aubuchon. </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>The memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 550 Adams Drive, Crestview, Florida, on June 7, 2023, at 11 AM. The interment with military honors is at Barrancas National Cemetery at 1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, Florida, on June 7, 2023, at 2:30 PM.<br> Donations can go to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church at 550 Adams Drive, Crestview, Florida 32536, or to the American Lung Association at 55 W.
