RUTH ISOBEL WILLIAMS (nee Reynolds) May 11, 2023

Ruth Isobel Williams (nee Reynolds) passed away peacefully at Scarborough Centenary Hospital

on May 11, 2023. Born on October 4, 1927, she was in her 96th year and is pre-deceased by her

loving husband Robert (Bob) with whom she shared 65 years of marriage, her brother Art, and

sister Jeanne, and is survived by her sister Fae.

Ruth is lovingly remembered by her four daughters Cheryl (Reg), Lynn (Clint), Patti (Greg) and

Evangeline (John); 9 grandchildren Matthew (Amanda), Jonathan (Kim), Nathaniel (Meaghan),

Jeremy (Brittany), Andrew (Melissa), Ginny (Brad), Andrew (Rachel), James, and Jack; and 13

great grandchildren William, Claire, Luke, Keira, James, Abigail, Madelyn, Berkley, Dani, Ellie,

Jameson, Isla, and Wilson.

Ruth was born in Bowmanville, Ontario and raised in Solina, Ontario. After high school she

worked at the Goodyear plant in Bowmanville before marrying Bob in 1951 at which time she

devoted her life to her husband and four daughters. She was an active member of the Trinity

United Church (UCW) in Bowmanville and the Bowmanville Lions Club Lionettes.

Services are to be held Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 12:30 pm with visitation from 11:00am to 12:15pm at the

Morris Funeral Chapel in Bowmanville. Interment will follow at the Bowmanville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society are

appreciated

Mom will be remembered for her dedication to her family,

her many offers of a helping hand, her kindness, and cheerful

smiles. Her loving looks always warmed our hearts.
