<p>Mathew S. Germain</p><p>June 15, 1934- May 10, 2023</p><p>East Wenatchee, WA</p><p><br></p><p>Mathew (Matt) S. Germain, 88 of East Wenatchee passed away on May 10, 2023, from a brief battle with cancer.</p><p><br></p><p>Matt was born on June 15th to Clarence and Geneva Germain in Bay City, Michigan.</p><p><br></p><p>Matt served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955. On July 3rd, 1954, Matt married the love of his life Edna Mae Ogger. They had four children. They made their way to Port Angeles, WA in 1969, later they moved to Cashmere, WA in 1973 and moved to East Wenatchee, WA in 1991. Most of his work history was in the electrical fields and retiring from Alcoa in 1996.</p><p><br></p><p>He was an avid hunter and fisherman which he enjoyed with his wife and children. He also enjoyed rummage sales with his wife and spending time with his family.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his 4 children, Pam (Rocky) Parkins of Marysville, WA, David (Kim) of Toledo, WA, Bruce (Donna) of Cashmere, WA, and Mark (Jean) of Wenatchee, WA. He also has 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife Edna of 64 years, his parents, 1 sister, and 3 brothers.</p><p><br></p><p>A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. </p><p><br></p><p>The family would like to thank the staff at Confluence Health Home Care Services and Golden Years Adult Home for the care of Matt.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Memorial Chapel East Wenatchee.</p>Obituary
