Rush Springs: Roger Craig Martin, 60, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023 in Norman.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the Carnes Family Cemetery. Burial and all arrangements are under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Rush Springs.

Roger was born Monday, October 15, 1962 in Lindsay, to Billy and Odelia "Dill" (Cox) Martin. He was a graduate of Lindsay High School. Roger was the owner and operator of Cox City Bar for more than 17 years. Before owning the bar, he worked in the oil field and at the dairy farm. Roger was a long time member of the Elk's Lodge in Lindsay. Roger enjoyed playing pool, watching OU football, taking his dog Roxy for rides, and drinking his beer. He loved his family and spent as much time as possible with them. He will be greatly missed by his family and many more in his community.

Roger leaves behind his son, Joshua Martin and wife Maranda of Wallville, 3 daughters, Misti Marsh and husband Chad, Ashley Beddoe, and Roxy of the home, 6 grandchildren Brooklynn Marsh, Dakota Marsh, Lainee Martin, Gunner Martin, Alexis Drewery, and Candace Park, brother, Mikey Martin and wife Twila, sister, Billie Jean Allen and husband Dennis of El Reno, sister, Connie LaFaver, best friend, Ann Lowe, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Dill Martin, brother, Jeff Martin, nephew, Brian Martin, brother in law, David LaFaver.

Pallbearers will be: Judd Newby, Mark Perry, Justin Henry, Billy Henry, Gene Burrell, and Rylan Gingery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Chad Marsh, Dakota Marsh, Gunner Martin, Mickey Martin, and all of his Cox City friends.
