PRESQUE ISLE: Clark E. Jalbert 90, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 11, 2023 surrounded by his family at The Aroostook House of Comfort, “The best Day of my Life”. He was born November 3, 1932 in St. Francis, the son Ernest and Jeanette (Jandreau) Jalbert. He served in the U.S. Air Force and then the U.S. Navy for a total of 14 years. Clark worked as a lock smith at The Aroostook Medical Center for a number of years, and then pastored at many Aroostook County Churches. He was always a people person, always trying to encourage people, he loved life. He was a good Dad and step Dad, enjoyed being outdoors, took the kids fishing. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Millie Jalbert of Presque Isle, four sons; John Jalbert and his wife Pam of Chapman, Paul Jalbert and his fiancé Erin of Squa Pan Lake, Scot Jalbert and his wife Sarah of Westfield, Peter Jalbert and his wife Jen of Hampden, three step sons; Marlon Cochran of Florida, Marty Cochran and his wife Vicky of Pittsfield, Tony Cochran and his wife Kathy of Fort Fairfield, ten grandchildren, two great grandsons, several nieces and nephews, two sisters; Mona Bouchard of California, and Fay Dyer of Fairfield, a brother Richard “Forrest” Jalbert of Oregon. He was predeceased by a sister Carol Mc Breairty, and an infant sister Jolene, and his former wife Patricia Jalbert. Relatives and friends may call 6-8PM Monday May 15, 2023 at the Family Christian Center Caribou Rd. Presque Isle, then again 12 noon on Tuesday May 16th until time of service at 1PM. Pastor Gail Bellamy will be officiating. Interment with military honors will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle.
