<p>SUSANNE ALMA PRICE </p><p>66, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit. She was born September 19, 1956 in Pottsville, PA to John and Dorothy (Smith) Carey. She married David Gainer Price, Sr. on February 7, 1976 in St. Patrick Cathedral, Pottsville, PA. He died February 4, 2023. </p><p><br></p><p>Susanne graduated in 1974 from Pottsville Area High School, PA. She joined the United States Army Reserves where she met David. They lived in Japan for three years before moving to Michigan. Susanne worked as a CNA for Autumnwood of Deckerville. She continued her education, became an EMT, and was employed as a paramedic. Susanne worked for Marlette EMS and was Director of Kingston Fire and Rescue. She enjoyed sewing and planting flowers in her garden. Susanne was an animal lover and enjoyed the company of many feline friends. She will be remembered as a sweetheart, always caring about others and putting them first. </p><p><br></p><p>Susanne is survived by her son, David (Samantha) Price, Jr. of Saginaw; daughter, Jennifer Johnson of Sandusky; grandchildren: Mariah Price, Alexis (Zach) Milam, Emilee Price, Abby Dinsmoore, Ashton Dinsmoore; step grandchildren: Chad (Kim) Jones, Steven (Kassaundra) Jones, Tyler Jones, Jennifer Kelly, Brendan Dinsmoore; great grandchildren: Sophia, Paislee; step great grandchildren: Adam, Tommy, Jason, Carter, Emma, Gabby, Jaxon, Ashton; siblings: Cindy (Victor) Kocher of Winslow, Maine; Debbie (Kyle) Jefferson of Auburn, PA; Pat (Craig) Lowthert of Port Carbon, PA; Jack (Christa) Carey of Pottsville, PA. She is preceded in death by her husband of forty-seven years, David; her parents, John and Dorothy Carey; daughter, Melissa Dinsmoore; sister, Dottie Reightler. </p><p><br></p><p>Funeral service held 12:00 p.m. Thursday May 18, 2023 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Brad Speirs of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Military honors conducted by Cass City V.F.W. Post #3644 and the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
