David Morais, 53, of Oakland Park, FL, passed away on May 6, 2023, at HCA Aventura Hospital. 

Born in Fall River MA, he was the son of Jose and Maria Olivia (Ferreira) Morais. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Jason (Paula) Morais of Cranston, Nancy (Odaltino) Moniz of Warren, and Sharon Morais of Fort Lauderdale, FL; nieces and nephews: Jacob Morais, Lylah Morais, Sebastian Moniz, and Isabella Moniz; close cousin Guida (Matt) Botelho and her children, Lana Botelho and Bridget Botelho of Foxborough MA, in addition to numerous cousins, family and close friends who loved him.

David was a 1987 class graduate of Bristol High School and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Johnson & Wales University. He was employed as a licensed massage therapist for Cabana’s & Chi Day Spas & Conrad Hotels.

His funeral services will be held Monday, May 15th, 10 AM from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street with a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 AM at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
