<p>Richard E. Welch, 65, of Wells, passed away Sunday Morning, May 7, 2023 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough following brief illness. </p><p><br></p><p>Rick, as he was known to everyone, was born in California, died in Maine, and had a full life in between. </p><p><br></p><p>His family appreciates all the caretakers and life advisors over the years that helped Rick get to the life he has loved for the last 20 years. </p><p><br></p><p>Rick was survived and well loved by his wife Paula Welch and will miss him very much. He is also survived by his mother Mary Lou Brown, a daughter Coletta Wellborn, sons Isaiah Welch, and Ricky Welch, step-son Jeffrey Bridges, two brothers and two sisters that he dearly loved, many grandchildren, and Remmy, his German Shepherd. </p><p><br></p><p>A private service will be held at a later date. </p><p><br></p><p>To leave a message of condolence, please visit ’s Book of Memories at www.bibberfuneral.com.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements are entrusted to Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St. Kennebunk. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

Richard E. Welch, 65, of Wells, passed away Sunday Morning, May 7, 2023 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough following brief illness.


Rick, as he was known to everyone, was born in California, died in Maine, and had a full life in between.


His family appreciates all the caretakers and life advisors over the years that helped Rick get to the life he has loved for the last 20 years.


Rick was survived and well loved by his wife Paula Welch and will miss him very much. He is also survived by his mother Mary Lou Brown, a daughter Coletta Wellborn, sons Isaiah Welch, and Ricky Welch, step-son Jeffrey Bridges, two brothers and two sisters that he dearly loved, many grandchildren, and Remmy, his German Shepherd.
