Brookings resident Paul Russell McReynolds passed away on May 3, 2023 at the age of 95 years and one day. He was born May 2, 1928 in Ontario, California, to Clarence and Madge (Malotte) McReynolds. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1947. He drove long-haul truck routes, and loved fishing and dancing.

He is survived by his daughters, Karen and Pauline. He will be laid to rest with his late wife Maryalice Carson-McReynolds.
