BOBBY GENE WOOD

Bobby Gene Wood passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Bob was a loving husband who supported his wife throughout the 45 years they were married. Bob loved his dogs, AJ and Brandy. He never met a stranger; he enjoyed pulling pranks and joking around with his family and friends. He was the life of the party. Bob enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and recreational shooting. He enjoyed antique cars. Bob was of the Christian faith and led a life of following Jesus Christ.

Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his father and mother and one son. He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Wood; children, Jeannie Chapman, Linda Chappell, Jimmy Ward, (Robin), and Michael Branson; 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 in the Garden of Prayer at East Tennessee Cemetery, 2630 Highway 75, Blountville, TN.
