<p>Jean G. Boucher, 83, of Arundel, passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife at the&nbsp;Gosnell Memorial Hospice House on April 26, 2023.</p><p><br></p><p>He was born in Saint-Athanase, Quebec, Canada, on February 7, 1940, the son of George&nbsp;and Marie (Laura) Boucher.</p><p><br></p><p>On July 1, 1961, he married Claudia Belliveau and together they raised three children.</p><p><br></p><p>Jean was a self-taught carpenter specializing in post and beam construction. His skilled&nbsp;craftmanship and resourcefulness was second to none. His trade and insight led him to&nbsp;build several beautiful homes across New England.</p><p><br></p><p>He was a devout Catholic and a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus.</p><p><br></p><p>Spending time with his loving family was most important to him. He also enjoyed cruising with his wife Claudia in their Corvette.</p><p><br></p><p>They could be spotted at local pubs, restaurants, casinos and social clubs where they shared laughs, spirits, and great conversation with&nbsp;many friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Jean was preceded in death by three sisters, Noella Thibeault, Fernande Nadeau and&nbsp;Diannette Pruneau.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Claudia Boucher; one son Daniel Boucher and his&nbsp;wife Corrie of Springvale; two daughters Lisa Parent of Limestone and Monique Boucher&nbsp;of Melbourne, Florida; one sister Solange Bertrand of Biddeford; five grandchildren, Jason&nbsp;and Bryan Parent of Limestone, Amber Stone of Alfred, Devon Drake and Reese Boucher</p><p>of Springvale; four great-grandchildren, Parker, Cole, Emmett, and Bailey; and several&nbsp;nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>There will be no visiting hours.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Family and Friends are invited to join in a Celebration of&nbsp;Life on May 13, 2023, from 1-4pm at the Springvale Social Club, 22 Bridge Street,&nbsp;Springvale, Maine.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>A private graveside service will commence at a later date.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, please consider making a charitable contribution in Jean’s memory to&nbsp;the Springvale Knights of Columbus, Council 2755, 22 Bridge Street, Springvale, Maine&nbsp;04083.</p>
