Florence Chapman

July 25, 1953—April 11, 2023

At the Miller Center on April 11, 2023, holding the hands of her son, Daniel (Danny) and her daughter in law, Lindsay whom she loved with all her heart, Florence peacefully passed away.

Florence had a short battle with cancer and she fought to the bitter end. God had other plans for Florence and now she is in heaven with the love of her life, Dan.

Florence leaves to mourn her only child, Daniel (Danny) whom she loved and treasured with all her heart. Also, her beautiful daughter in law, Lindsay whom she was proud and blessed to have in her family.

She also leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters: Bill (ON), Dale (BC), Terri (CBS), Roy (Gander), Curtis (QU), Beverly (NB), Sharon (NS), Jim (AB), Wanda (NS) and Yvonne (ON). Also, Dan’s family: Sarah (Tom), Ike (NS), Marg (Bern), Delia (Gerald), Sam (Natalie) Leo (Sheila) Sandra (Peter), Audrey Chapman, Debbie Chapman and their families. Plus, a large number of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly as well as other relatives and friends. Florence was blessed to have some very special friends in her life.

Florence is pre-deceased by her loving husband, Dan; her parents, Louise and Vince Boone; nephew, Todd Skinner (Terri Harvey & Frances Skinner); her parents-in-law, Ernestine and William Chapman; and her brothers in law, Bill and Pat Chapman. Also, her long-time special friend, Sharon Allison.

Cremation has taken place as per Florence’s wishes.

A celebration of Florence’s life took place at Spencer’s Funeral Home, Harbour Breton on April 29, 2023. Visitation 1:00 – 3:00 and Celebration of her life was from 3:00 – 4:00 .

There will be a celebration of Florence’s life at the Southern Port Motel at 6pm on Saturday and we would like to invite everyone to attend. There will be food and music and the bar will be open for those who would like to purchase a drink.
