<p>Joseph Roy Mackey, Jr., born on September 21, 1963, was a native of Baker, Louisiana. He was a loving husband of 26 years, father, grandfather, brother and friend, died on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at his home in Clinton. He was 59 and a former welder with Custom Metal Works. Memorial Visitation will be at Slaughter United Methodist Church on Saturday 10:00am to 12:00pm. Fellowship and a meal hosted by the Ory family to follow. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Belinda Mackey, daughter, Shelby-Jo Mackey, and 2 sons, T-Joe Mackey and Kevin Sparks. His siblings, Mike Mackey and wife, Candy, Kevin Mackey and wife, Melanie, Scott Mackey and wife, Milette and Angel Rogers and husband, Paul. A grandson, Kamden Sparks and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joeann and Joseph Mackey, Sr. and his grandparents, Nolan and Winnie Roy. Father in law and mother in law, Phillip and Frances Davis and his best friend, John Johnson. Joe loved hunting, fishing, 4 wheeler riding, carpentry and baseball.</p><p><br></p>
