<p>Alfonso “ Big Al ”, 74 of Borger passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. No services are scheduled. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. </p><p>Alfonso was born February 16, 1949, in Clayton, NM to Felix and Maria Sadie (Romero) Garcia. He married Jerri Garcia on August 25, 1967, in Dalhart, TX. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He loved to work out in the gym, corvettes, motorcycles, fishing, &nbsp;hunting and giving people nicknames. He worked for Phillips Petroleum as an operator. </p><p>Preceding him in death are his parents, brothers Eloy, Felix Jr and Leroy. </p><p>Surviving is his loving wife of 55 years Jerri Garcia. Daughters Annette Garcia of Peyton, CO and Rhiannon Garcia of Elizabeth, CO. Sister Cecelia Sanchez of Clayton, NM. </p>
