Gary Permillion pass away peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife and son. Gary is proceeded in death by his father Terry Joseph Permilion Sr. and his mother Ethelyn Permillion.

Gary was born August 16, 1959 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He Graduated from West Jefferson High School. Upon graduating from R.O.T.C he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served for many years. He was very active in his church St. Joseph the Worker, located in Marreno, Louisiana where he sang in the choir and performed various tasks. After he completed his military career he enjoyed substitute teaching, retail, and construction. In 2013 he met and married Shirley Mason they relocated to Rifle Colorado in 2016. He did landscaping and construction up until he retired. He spent the rest of his life doing what he loved. Gary had a passion for drawing, biking, jogging, collecting comic books and spending time with his family.

Gary is survived by his loving wife Shirley Permillion , son Dante Mason. His two brothers Terry Permillion Jr. (Tina) Merrill Permillion (Catherine). Gary’s two sisters Cindy Ellis (Edward) and Yvette Payne (Sidney) along with six nieces, one nephew, and two great nephews.

Gary was a loving husband and father. He was out going and free spirited and enjoyed helping others. He will truly be missed.
