Wilton Richard Lipscomb, 85, a resident of Zachary, LA, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. There will be a visitation on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA, from 9:00am until funeral services at 11:00am, conducted by Rev. Jason Kennedy. Burial will follow in Milldale Cemetery. He is survived by his son Kenneth R. Lipscomb and his wife Angie of Zachary, LA; sister Brenda Watkin of Baton Rouge; brother Larry Lipscomb of Central; eight grandchildren Aaron Cormier, Allen Cormier, Evan Lipscomb, Ethan Lipscomb, Rick Lipscomb, Josh Lipscomb, Angel and Beth; and many nephews, nieces, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Peairs Lipscomb; son Ricky Lipscomb; sister Gwen Farmer; and parents Alma and Guy Lipscomb. Pallbearers will be Bob Kelly, Aaron Cormier, Allen Cormier, Evan Lipscomb, Ethan Lipscomb, and Brian Lipscomb. He proudly served in the US Army Reserve.
