Obituary

We lost a great friend today - someone honest, with strong principles.  Chip was born in Franklin in 1954 to Odias and Gloria (Puffinburger) Laroche.  He owned and operated Thunder Small Engine, where he sold and repaired lawn mowers, snow blowers and just about anything with an engine.  Many depended on him - and he always delivered.  Like his Dad, he could fix anything! After 20 years in business, he and his wife, Geny, took a year off to travel and recharge.  He then worked at Franklin Regional Hospital in Maintenance for 7 years before retiring.

In his retirement, Chip loved to travel, but also loved to putter around Thunder Farm, where he and his wife lived for 39 years.

Many will remember his incredibly quick wit, playful sarcasm and true friendship as well as his generosity.

He is survived by his wife of over 42 years, Geny (Raffaelly); his daughter Kristal Laroche (Tim Abbott), step children Candi (Shaun) Garvin and Allan (Tasha) Belair, grandsons Kyle, Connor and Matthew and granddaughter Emma.

He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers Ernest (Butch), David, Ronald and Eugene.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Granite VNA, 30 Pillsbury St, Concord NH.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 12 from 4-6 pm at the Thibault-Neun Funeral Home at 143 Franklin St in Franklin. A brief service will be held at 4pm.
