<p>Pernell - Graveside Services for Mr. Garland "Tommy" Thomas Doake, 77 of Ratliff City is scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 7, 2023 at the Sandy Bear Cemetery with Chase Meads officiating.&nbsp; Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ratliff City.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Tommy was born July 30, 1945 in Walters, OK to the late Mr. George Thomas Doake and Mrs. Nettie Faye (Griffin) Doake.&nbsp; He departed from this life on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in Norman, OK.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Tommy was raised in Southwestern Oklahoma graduating from Cache High School.&nbsp; He worked on a pig farm in his earlier years when he married the love of his life, Ms. Connie Pearl Martin on October 9, 1964 in Walters, OK and together they were blessed with 5 children. They made their home at Meers until moving to DeRidder, LA in 1968. They moved back to Meers and then returned to Louisiana again before making their home at Walters in 1978. In 1982 they began moving around with the Oklahoma oilfield but eventually settled in the Ratliff City area where they have called home since 1986.&nbsp; Tommy had also worked within in the carpentry industry, and the couple had owned several grocery store locations.&nbsp; He enjoyed water skiing, fishing and fly fishing, and camping and spending time with his wife.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Connie on January 9, 2019; brother, Barry Doake, and a great grandson, Wyatt Widmer.</p><p><br></p><p>Tommy is survived by his children, Guy Thomas and Teresa Doake of Duncan, David Scott and Gretchen Doake of Edenton, NC, Jessie Keith and Lisa Doake of Lindsay, Connie Gaylene and Lee Keck of Lindsay, and Charlotte Anne and Lonnie Patrick of Ratliff City; 17 grandchildren, Thomas, Allison, CheyAnne, Katy Brooke, Christian, Keith, Sarah, Samantha, Matthew, Julie, Catherine, Kimberly, Amy, Philip, Jordan, Tommy, and Josh; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Helen and Tom Pittman of Arizona, Anita Thompson of Cache, and Carol Goeringer of Lawton; and by a host of other family and friends.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held Thursday evening, April 6, 2023 from 5-7 P.M. at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ratliff City.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Memories may be shared online at www.alexandergrayfh.com.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><iframe width="512" src="https://www.tributeslides.com/videos/embedded_video/JRWTH6WB2ZCKRYCD" scrolling="no" height="330" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" allowfullscreen="true" class="ts_player"></iframe></p>

Pernell - Graveside Services for Mr. Garland "Tommy" Thomas Doake, 77 of Ratliff City is scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 7, 2023 at the Sandy Bear Cemetery with Chase Meads officiating.  Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ratliff City. 


Tommy was born July 30, 1945 in Walters, OK to the late Mr. George Thomas Doake and Mrs. Nettie Faye (Griffin) Doake.  He departed from this life on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in Norman, OK.
