The family of Charles Nelson “Charlie” Hill are saddened to announce his sudden passing on March 28,2023 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow .

Born on March 23, 1963 to the late Nelson and Shirley (Reid) Hill.

Charles will be remembered for his quiet manner and kindness. Most often seen on his daily walks around New Glasgow, he will be missed by many who knew him.

He is survived by his sister Ella Mae Cornett, New Glasgow; brothers: John (Janet) Hill,Thorburn; Gordon Hill,New Glasgow; Herman Hill, Ontario; his nephews & nieces: Ella Mae & Frank Cornett, Jessica and Cody Hill, Matthew and Tyler Hill, several grandnephews and nieces, also sister-in-law Patsy McCarthy.

The family would like to thank the staff of Viola’s Place, ICU staff at the Aberdeen Hospital and Community Services for their help and support.

Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors from 2-4pm Thursday April 6, 2023 at the H.W.Angus Funeral Home.

Burial of ashes will take place at a later date.

Donations in memory of Charles may be made to Viola’s Place Homeless Shelter or a charity of one’s choice.
