<p>Veronica Moran Martinez, 51, of Caldwell, ID went to be with our Lord on Friday Mary 24, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born August 30, 1971 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Sarah M. Rodriguez and Gonzalo Moran Jr. She was the second oldest of eight siblings. On February 26, 2012 she married Vicente Martinez Chiprez, who survives her.</p><p><br></p><p> The simplest of pleasures in life brought great joy to Veronica. She loved a quiet evening with family and friends, but mostly just with her husband Vincent. She worked for several years at Bon Appetit at the College of Idaho and during her spare time she loved visiting and spoiling her niece Kamila and nephew/godson Emilio. She loved to shop and look for “great deals” at second-hand stores and yard sales.</p><p><br></p><p> Veronica also enjoyed dancing, laughing, and occasionally causing mischief. She was never afraid to speak up and let you know what was on her mind.</p><p><br></p><p> She is survived by her five children, Elizabeth, Miguel, Marcus, Daniel and Raquel from her first marriage; her mother Sarah, her father Gonzalo; siblings Paula Lopez Ramos, Sunny (Maria) Moran, Eddy (Lupita) Moran, Crystal (Emilio) Madrigal, Noelia Rodriguez, Sonia Rodriguez and Roman Rodriguez. She had several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.</p><p><br></p><p> Veronica was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, paternal grandmother, aunts Maria, Lucia and Irma, cousins Jose, Johnny, Israel, and a niece Melina Madrigal.</p><p><br></p><p> A viewing for friends and family will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell.</p>
