<p>Ratliff City – Funeral services for Mrs. Deborah Kay “Debbie” (Smith) Smith, 71, of Ninnekah are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Ratliff City First Baptist Church with Rev. Glynn Baker officiating and grandson, Casey Smith assisting. Interment will follow at the Ratliff City cemetery. Services are under the direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ratliff City.</p><p>Debbie was born Oct. 26, 1951, at Wilson to the late Mr. Billy Paul” B.P” Smith and Mrs. Rosa Nell (England) Smith. She departed this life Monday evening March 27, 2023, at her home in Ninnekah.</p><p>Debbie was a native of this area, being raised at Pruitt City and attending school at Fox. She graduated from Fox High School in 1969 and married Mr. Donnie Ray Smith on July 30, 1971, at the Ratliff City First Baptist Church. She and Donnie spent many years in this area raising their three boys.</p><p>Debbie loved children with all of her heart and spent an immense part of her life as a dedicated educator. Initially she taught middle school classes and later became a Special Education administrator for several school districts throughout the state of Oklahoma. She served as the area Psychometrist for the rest of her tenure and always had a special place in her heart for every student.</p><p>She and Donnie travelled a lot within their RV visiting most all the US at least once and some twice. They shared many wonderful memories together while doing this. Debbie leaves many students to cherish her memory whom she loved and cherished as her own. She was a member of the Ninnekah Baptist Church where she and Donnie has resided for several years.</p><p>Her parents, B.P. and Nell Smith preceded her in death along with a brother-in-law, Tony Wilkins and a nephew, Braden Bush.</p><p>She is survived by her husband, Donnie Smith of the home; her boys, Derik Smith and wife Sharon of Ratliff City, Todd Smith and wife Kristy of Tuttle and Blair Smith and wife Megan of Newcastle; sister, Connie Wilkins and brother Dennis Smith and his wife Pam all of Ratliff City; grandchildren, Tristan Smith, Nathan Loyd, Conner Smith, Clarissa Jackson, Casey Smith and wife Carrie, Kyler Smith, Lawton Loyd and wife Amber, Taylor Williams and husband Emerson and Mason Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, students and other relatives and friends.</p><p>Serving as casket bearers will be Tristan Smith, Nathan Loyd, Lawton Loyd, Conner Smith, Kyler Smith and Casey Smith.</p><p>Honorary bearer is Mason Smith.</p><p>Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8pm Friday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ratliff City.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Condolences may be sent online at www.alexandergrayfh.com</p><p><br></p><p><iframe width="512" src="https://www.tributeslides.com/videos/embedded_video/GFKFP6WYM3SNP65S" scrolling="no" height="330" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" allowfullscreen="true" class="ts_player"></iframe></p>
