Cordie Anne Cook Obituary

Cordie Cook, 82, of Oktaha, OK passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023 in Oktaha. She was born in Westville, OK on April 25, 1940 the daughter of Charlie Fowler and Ilo Fowler (O'Neal). Cordie loved her family people of all kinds. She enjoyed fishing and cheering on her Oktaha Tigers!


Survivors include 2 sisters: Barbara Everhart and Edna Winkler; 2 daughters: Glenda Frazier and husband Vance, Cynthia Edington and husband Larry; 1 son: Joey Elsey and wife Angie; 6 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and other family members.


Cordie was preceded in death by her parents: Charlie and Ilo Fowler; husband Charlie Cook; and siblings: Martha Faye Kirk, Leo Fowler, Donald, Fowler, Louise Burris, Janet Bales Fowler, Lorene Brisendine, Paulette Riley, Leila Kilpatrick and J.C. Fowler.


Viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee with Reverend Larry Wright officiating. Pallbearers for the service are: Joey Elsey, Larry Joe Edington, Larry Edington, Will Fowler, Bubba Edington, Darwin Burdzilauskas, Zack Edington and Vance Frazier. Honorary Pallbearer: Billy Frazier. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery in Chance, OK. Services under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
