Diane Marie Frost
<p>Diane Marie Frost, age 75, of Junction City, WI died at home on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.</p><p><br></p><p>Diane was born November 29, 1947 to the late Theodore and Lila (Langton) Boenski in Stevens Point, WI. She attended Emerson Grade School and graduated from PJ Jacobs High School.</p><p><br></p><p>She married Gene D. Frost on August 27, 1966 at First Baptist Church.</p><p><br></p><p>In her earlier years, Diane worked as a housekeeper for River Pines Nursing Home. After completing additional courses, she became a Certified Nursing Assistant and then Medical Technician for the nursing home. An opportunity became available with St. Michael’s Hospital, and Diane became a Healthcare Unit Coordinator. After years of dedication, she retired 2014. Even after retirement, Diane continued to volunteer her time at the hospital.</p><p><br></p><p>Family was everything to Diane, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She relished hosting family events and her bi-weekly Saturday dinners. Whether you were family or friends, all were welcome to her home and treated alike. Her caring and compassionate persona always seemed to shine. In her spare time, she enjoyed flower gardening, boat rides, watching sunsets, solving puzzles, playing cards and sitting down with a bowl of popcorn to watch the Bob Ross painting show.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include her children, Jeremy Frost and Brenda (Al Gaulke) Frost; grandchildren, Jennifer (Kenneth McElhaney) Aelllig, Jordan (Renee) Frost, Jesse (Ashley) Frost, Steven ( (Amy) Hartlich, Nichole (Steven Springer) Zdroik, and Tia Gaulke; great grandchildren, , Sarah Arney, Amanda Springer, Grayson Springer, Gene Hartlich, and Mya McELhaney. She is also survived by her siblings, Jerry (Pat) Boenski and Roxann Jones; sister-in-law, Barb Boenski; many nieces, nephews, and extended family; and k-9 companion but son just the same, Baxter.</p><p><br></p><p>She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Frost; son, Jeff Frost; brothers, Ed and Bruce Boenski; and brother-in-law, Jeff Jones.</p><p><br></p><p>A Service to commemorate her life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Boston Funeral Home. A time of visitation will precede from 10:00 am until the time of service. Traditional burial will follow in Linwood Union Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>Family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the paramedics and emergency personnel that assisted with mom.</p><p><br></p>Obituary
